We have recently embarked on a development project – called Virtual Sales Agent – an AI driven bot for the online sales industry

The Role – Intermediate Web Developer

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide junior developers
  1. Code reviews of junior developers
• Propose solutions to complex development problems
• Research and evolve current development practices and methodologies
• Enforce testing standards to ensure high-quality output
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable code modules
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Innovate in the webs space by keeping on top of new standards and technologies

Skills and Qualifications

1. Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks {such as Laravel, Lumen, etc depending on your technology stack}
2. Understanding of MVC design patterns
3. Understand and live in Cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
4. Understanding accessibility and security compliance {Depending on the specific project}
5. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
6. Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
7. Strong knowledge of common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
8. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
9. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
10. Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
11. Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
12. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
13. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
14. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
15. Understand Agile Development
